Odd issue with Registry getting Reset

Ok here is the problem. Everytime I reboot my machine the registry appears to get reset to a state in time earlier and all settings during last session lost. NOW before you jump to conclusions here is the setup.

Brand New install of Windows XP Pro (SP2 slipstreamed in)
Right after install ALL hotfixes applied.
System Restore was TURNED OFF.
Updated Driver software installed for all hardware.
Sun JAVA 1.4 installed
FireFox 1.0.6 installed
SageTV beta 3.0.7 installed.
Nvidia PureVideo installed
AC3Filter 1.0.1a installed

Now then as you can see I have very little software installed, this machine is my HTPC so no need for much.

A sympton of this problem is that I set up windows time to sync with a server and I set the server name incorrectly at first. Well I noticed this and set it correctly, now everytime I reboot it gets set back to the incorrect setting.

Another sympton is AC3Filter setting get reset to default on every reboot.

Any clues guys?
