Odd far cry problem

Whenever I load up my game in a farcry and I am spawning inside a room, I get smooth nice frames inside any housing/room, but the second I step outside things get very laggy.
The same thing happens when I spawn outside, the outside is smooth and nice, but the second I step inside I lag out crazy.

-My specs-

A64 3000+
6800 128 mb.
1 gb ram


Whats going on? And can I fix it? :confused:

Check your AGP aparture, should be at 128mb that should take care of the issue. Might want to check if ya got the latest bios for your apg port too.
