Hi,

I have just gotten a new BioStar T-Force 965 chipset board (ICH8R)
I'm just trying to get everything ready for Conroe but ran into this rather annoying problem. On a cold start (from power switch) the disks get detected like in the first picture. 2 x WD raptors OK, everything else gets "Smart Event Logged"

From a warm reboot the ICH8R detects the drives like in the second picture, 2 x WD Raptors OK, everything else "Device Verify Failed" it also takes about 30 seconds compared to the 5 seconds it takes from a cold start.

The disks are accessible in windows though they seem to be rather sluggish, also all of these disks were working fine in my last box, they also work fine if I set the machine to IDE compatible mode.
