OCZ Powerstream vs Modstream

I'm going to be upgrading the power supply in my PC, and I'm thinking of buying either the OCZ Powerstream 420 or Modstream 450 PS.

My CPU & MOBO is - (AMD 2800+ Barton & Asus A7N8X Deluxe) in an Antec Performance Plus 660AMG 330w mini tower case.

From reading a few reviews, the Modstream seems to have shorter cables which is a definate plus for my overcrowded case.

Oh yeah they are short.. Either or on the PSU. They are both good supplies. Do you want modular cables or not?

They don't have to be modular. I just need something that doesn't have excessively long cables.

Would the rails on the Modstream be enough for my motherboard?

I think even a good quality 400W power supply would have enough on the rails for your "motherboard."

I'll second that. My system is similar in load on the 5v rail, and could itself be powered by a good 350w. I had it on a 420w Channel Well for 1.5 years before I went to the Fortron 530w. Neither PSU was/is straining against the load, and I've pushed the system pretty hard
