Hi there.

I've got an OCZ Powerstream 520adj and I have a couple of questions regarding it.

When I run OCCT it displays my voltages as: 3.28, 5.08, 12.03

Shouldn't that 3.28 read 3.3? My PSU is adjustable, should I turn it up a little bit? Would turning the other two values up help me OC at all? I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to PSUs so any help would be appreciated. I don't want to melt anything! ;)

are you getting these readings from software or from a multimeter? Unless it's from the multimeter take the reading with a grain of salt. Software readings are very inaccurate and chances are your 3.3v is actually over 3.3 let alone 3.28. Besides, 3.28 is very safe as tolerances on the ATX spec allow for +/- 5% meaning your 3.3v could go as low as 3.14v and as high as 3.47v.

Never ever adjust pots based on software or if you don't know what you are doing.

Roger that! Thanks for the responses guys.

Those were numbers from my BIOS. I figured it was close enough and it's good to know that you agree.

I have found that BIOS readings are more accurate than readings taken from within the OS but nothing beats a multimeter!
