Having intermittent load issues on a MBP. I just updated to latest firmware (via pulling it out and connecting to my Win7 desktop). Is there a program to test this drive throughly?

Been looking on the OCZ site and I have not located a "disk utility" program to test this drive.

I have tested with OSX disk utility and such (no errors).

Suggestions?

edit: I am cloning the drive, so data will be safe incase if destructive testing is required.

You can do a zero fill of the drive with the following, which will write zeros to every bit the drive presents as available:

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda bs=1M

sda being the designator of the drive you want to wipe.

Also make sure if there is a firmware update for your drive that you have done it, and if you are running prior to OSX 10.7 that you do the TRIM hack.
 
Is that different than zero fill provided with Apple disk utility? Was thinking about loading via FireWire and nuking internal drive.

Will it choke on bad parts or reset them (SSD)?

I'm using 10.8.1, just installed it.
