Has anyone, that owns the Modstream 520, experience the fan noise described below from the silentpcreview of this model. I belive the fan is a Yate Loon, so you wouldn't expect that kind of noise. Perhaps it was just than specific model they reviewed. I also noticed that the fan noise, from their tests, is less at the various power levels than the Antec, etc. Thanks.

Unfortunately, the benefit conferred by the fan controller is reduced by the clicky fan. Additionally, the advantage of removable cables is countered by their stiffness and short lengths. The cables are not unworkable; users of other stiff-sleeved cables have reported good results using a hot hair dryer to bend the cables in place. The fan is not really loud at typical power levels, but its acoustic character will become annoying in a quiet PC. The fan could be replaced with a smoother, quieter one. In combination with that benign fan voltage controller, this could make for a very quiet and stylish PSU.

Those guys at silentpcreview are a little crazy with the silent thing; the same way that the people at [H] are Hard, and the same way that 3dgameman loves everything and everything is Kickass.

You could always replace the fan with one of your choice; it isn't hard.
