Interesting point, we should see if someone here buys a crap load from Dell and could get the highest discount. Most often it's people under a business and can't exactly resell that way.
99.9% of the time when you call Dell on the phone it cheaper, by a long shot. They always throw in free stuff and knock ~ 10% or more off the price.
I'd shoot for $1800 price w/ 2 gig RAM as a bargaining starting point.
I did not price out the other Dell (Workstations etc.), finding a box with at least 1x PCI-E slot would be a wise idea.
