Does this work at all? Or is using ATI Tools and disabling the ATI Hotkey Poller the only way to go? Does OC'ing with the CCP still maintain the 2D clock mode when not ingame?

It works, and there is an option to disable the OC while not in 3D mode. I don't have an opinion on which is better, though, because ATITool doesn't work on my card.

In my opinion, the CCC's overclocking tool (OverDrive) is shoddy at best. It severely limits overclocking ability, and it doesn't work for me half the time I try it.

I always end up using something like ATITool or RivaTuner for ATI cards.

Please, god, use ATiTool. Don't even bother with the CCC unless it's to turn AA on in games that won't let you. It's a useless crapulet otherwise.

(Note to "crapulet" people: It just doesn't sound right for some reason... :p Wait, fixed it. My grammar sucks >.<)

Where is this option?

Where are the fan settings in the CCP?

I think I'm dumping it for ATI Tray Tools again anyway, the damned centered timings mode doesn'teven work, and that's what I was hoping the CCP would do for me. Guess not.

Does OC'ing work with the Tray Tools?

you betcha, at least with my card, and better than CCP. CCP limits the the overclock to some presets that someone decided was as far as one should go. No such limit with Ati Tray Tools. While I was not able to get a lot more out of my GPU, memory overclock was significantly higher with ATT then CCP.

Is there a setting like this for AtiTools?

sorta, you use the game profiles, make a stock speed profile and an overclock profile, then using profile manager, when you start xxxxx.exe to fire off your game you tell it to use the overclock profile and when exiting revert back to the stock speed profile. All automatic once you get it set up, works like a champ.

Yea!@!!@@!@@@!11!!! More people that use this word the better!!!! (I love how MS just kinda invented it out of mid air) On aniother note, you'll be better off using ati tray tools or atitool

Anyone using AtiTool to OC a crossfire setup? I've had great experiences with Atitool with single cards, but I've read that you need to use the CCC in order to enable crossfire.
