Ok so I have overclocked my intel e6850 by increasing the FSB from 1333 to 1512 x 9 which got the CPU to 3.4ghz. When I take a look at CPU-Z it shows the multiplier changing from x6 to x9 randomly. Is this normal? When I use an applications or game does it jump up to x9? I also wanted to know if I should leave voltage on auto? I has been running smoothly on auto and I'm not sure if I should just set it myself. Sorry I'm completely new to overclocking and would really like to know if this is normal. Thanks for any help.

Turn off C1E/Speedstep.

Manually set voltage to default values/slightly increased values for the overclock.
