Here is my problem I can oc to 220fsb ddr@440mhz
I try 250 or 240 at 320mhz ocing to 396ddr and it posts but it wont go to windows. I have even gone to 260 but it just wont go into windows. at 240 it does but then I get random reboots I have gone all the way up 1.8volts on the cpu and 2.85 on the memory but nothing. I am just wondering if its the cpu or the MB I am confused because of the high posts. it is also in ide raid 0 mode and I have an antec 430watt true power
I have tried no turbo and no performance enabled too

Whoa!!! 1.8V on your VCORE man that's too high.....drop it down to 1.65V.....or risk frying your cpu.......You might try different dividers turn of PAT ...Lock your AGP/PCI........ google around you might find what your looking for........

Here's what i would do in a couple of weeks...since i have the same mobo arriving....

Lock AGP/PCI
Raise FSB increments of 5-10
Change the Divider
Once it wont go any higher i'd try raising my vcore and vdimm
I already have a SP94/92 Tornado laying around to cover the cooling parts

best of luck

I have the same motherboard. I have a P4 3.0C oc'd to 3.6.

To get stable with the 240 fsb I had to up my vcore to 1.675

My ram voltage is set to 1.75 and is at 320mhz.

I'm pretty sure about the ram settings. Basically it's one down from the highest in each of those categories. I think the board let's you set 1.85v max for the ram. And it's the option down from 400.

I also locked my AGP/PCI settings.

If I think of anything else I'll let you know.

I have tried all that I guess I just got a bum cpu oh well I guess on ebay it goes

Just remember next time, dont go over 1.75VCore.......You need a stronger cooling when reach passed that mark...............

best of luck

I had my 1.6a@2.56ghz and 1.75 volts for 2 years temps never rose past 53c

I still have the same heatsink the pal8942 it works great and is really quiet. the avc sunflower I have too works great but is too damn loud for me

hey kenny,

i'd be recieving the same mobo you have in about a week or so.....do you notice any vcore fluctuations like everyone are experiencing?

henessey

I do sometimes it goes from 1.586 to 1.56 but I guess its within spec its less than a 5% difference I put it to alarm at 5% and it hasnt so I .03 is not a big deal in voltage my board has been stable I just got a bum cpu just bought a 2.4c so I will try that.

Cool man....its seems that my mobo isnt coming in a couple of weeks and it's actually this week.....so when i get up and running ill let you know my results....

goodluck

My board overclocks easily to 3.6.
My board with BIOS 1015 or 1016 will not overclock past 225fsb no matter what I try.
On a hunch when reformatting I flashed back to 1011 and presto 3.6. Go figure.

If you try it and it solves your problem please post results here, thx.
