holas, Ive got me a A7N8X2.0 mobo

i move my fsb up to 400 (its 166 "external frequency" and i raised it to 200) i think and then when i exit outta setup monitor goes blank and i have to shut down manually then on restart i have to reset cpu speed
does that mean i cant raise it that much??
temps were fine i think, i checked and said 46 C

i dunno what doin wrong, athlon xp 3000+

Well, without knowing what RAM/mobo, settings and timings you're using, I'd say you are pushing it too far.

So what RAM? And did you just push it to 200 off the bat?

uhh im a total noob and dont know exactly, have a dual 512 corsair ram at 7 clocks?? and i did put it there right off bat cuz i didnt kno anytother way to raise it any lower than 200, settings were 100 135 then 166 and 200

any suggestions of what to do aer welcome, should i mess with multiplier?

do you have PC2700 or PC3200 RAM?

Also, your AMD XP 3000+ will not take a 200MHz FSB right from the get go. You have to adjust your CPU ratio accordingly.

And is that Corsair XMS or just Corsair value RAM? And speed rating? And processor?
