Hell all, was wondering if any one could give me some pointers on OCing my gig mushkin pc3500 lvl2 ddr. I basically just need to know what to set in the bios for it. Thanks

John

by your username i'm assuming you're using an AMD setup

My suggestion is running it at default with either 2.6 or 2.7vdimm
what kind of chip you using? mobo? need specs. I would set mine at 2-2-2-11 better for amd setups.

^^^can any one help me an tell me which settings i have to change for 2-2-2-11?? thanks

They're memory timings. Since you haven't told us what mobo you're using, I'm just going to assume your BIOS has something like Advanced Chipset Features, where you can manually change memory/RAM timings.

To increase the FSB (overclocking the Front Side Bus, which is probably what you're thinking of OCing), you should be able to set the CPU speed in BIOS to user defined, and enter your own FSB. The memory and FSB will run at the same speed if you're running in synchronous mode (1:1). For AMD systems, do not set any DRAM::FSB dividers that are not 1:1.
