OC'ing gpu, do you OC 2d AND 3d performance?

When you OC your vid card, do you step up the 2d and the 3d clock by 5mhz intervals, or just the 3d?

I overclock all modes through a BIOS flash. That way, I don't have to set the OC between driver changes.
 
I don't bother with 2d... You don't need the speed there (I doubt you'd even notice), so why stress your card more than necessary.
 
Yea, if yo uOC during 2d it doesn't make much sense, I've set my card to 200mhz and it doesn't bother my 2d at all but then I set it to ~370 and it's the same thing. However, the extra heat during the 2d really can take away from the longevity of your card.
