here are my specs:
athlon xp m 2500 @ 2.4 ghz at 1.775 v's
1 gig dual channel; pc2700 ram @ pc3200 at 2.9 v's
albatron kx18d pro mobo
thermaltake 480watt psu
bfg 5900xt oc modded bios at 450/ 750 and at 1.5 v's

cooling:
thermaltake pipe101 w/ jet 7 fan for cpu
zalman cm-80c or something like that heasink w/ tornado fan
bunch of other fans

my problemo is, I keep getting game freezes ever since I went up to 2.5 ghz on the cpu. Them went back down to 2.4 on it, which was stable, and I still keep getting freezes ever second almost. I don't get it. Should I put the tornado fan on the cpu heatink and put a regular 80mm fan on the video heatsink? I never had so many freezes and crashes before, so this is weird. Any help will be very thankfull

whats the temps on that cpu.

i overclocked my athlon xp thorton 2400@ 2.5ghz 1.8v with a slk900a. no problems at all. i idle at 47c and load on 50-51c. Its really good. :) Even on hot days its great. ;)

thermaltake is not exactly the best heatsink... and you can get a stable 2.4 at around 1.5-1.55... so no need to crank ur voltage that high, which will help lower your temperature...

thermalTAKE will take your money... thermalRIGHT is the right solution...

on the other hand...you could lower your temps by opening your case or improving air flow through your case...

this is still a great heatsink, not as good as the thermalright, but still pretty nice to me anyways. oh and it wouldn't go into windows at low voltages, it would always reboot, that's why I need the high voltages.

the constant rebooting also caused by cpu overheating. try to keep it lower then 55c.

well it reboots before it hits the loading windows icon and the bar going across the screen, and it doesn't reboot ffi I up the voltage a bit more.

also becuase of not enough voltage, might have to back down the fsb alittle :)

hmmmm yeah it's the voltage and not the heat, cause wouldn't run stable even at 1.75 v's but 1.775 v's instead it will boot and all. It never did this before, even at 200 fsb it was fine, until I tried hitting 2.5 it wouldn't work even when I'd turn it to its stable spot.
