OCing an E2180 on a PK5-VM

Hi, I just built a system using an Asus PK5-VM motherboard and an E2180 cpu. I have a Thermaltake fan and heatsink and 2 case fans in the case. I'm relatively new at overclocking.


What can I reasonably expect to push this thing to without better cooling? I'm not looking for anything too grand, I'd just like to game at a higher level. I'd like to get 3.0 out of it if possible.

What should I set the bios settings at?

FBS?
Ratio?
Voltage?

There is a fantastic How To: sticky at the top of this forum, it's what I used to OC my E4600 (see sig). The sticky tells you how to go about oc'ing for the first time, it's a great guide!
 
There are duds. My E2180 needs 1.38v to hit 3GHz, and rebooted after 30 seconds of Orthos. It likes 2.66 at stock (1.265) though. Abit AB9 and Scythe Ninja, btw.
 
Might depend on the stepping.
I know the E2160 had a stepping revision... M0 and L2, I believe.

I have the M0 which is supposedly cooler, but no dice.

Here are my CoreTemp results:

2.66GHz @ 1.265v: 47C after 20 hours of Orthos
3.00GHz @ 1.385v: 58C after 30 seconds of Orthos (then crash)
