I've OC'd this CPU to the highest setting the BIOS will give me which is 1.63GHz and I was wanting to know if there is any way to squeeze any more out of it. I'm using the heatsink and fan that came with the CPU about 2 years ago. My temp maxed out at 66 celcius under load and by looking at a few sites that is pretty low even for stock speeds. Anyways are there any other settings in the BIOS that can help me get any more speed out of this chip? Thanks. :)

P.S. - Funny thing just happened, I just rebooted and when the system posted it said my CPU was a 1900+ now. Is this a normal thing that happens when you OC?

get a new heatsink, thats a little hot. I know when i had my good stepping on my 1600+, i could get int eh 16xxmhz range, and that was only because my ram would do 160mhz max

I'm not going to be doing any upgrading to this box, so should I just leave the CPU at the speed it's at right now or put it back to its default speed? It's at 62 celcius right now.

How can I unlock it? If I can unlock it I might just buy a new heatsync. But, isn't my CPU already unlocked its stock speed is 1.4GHz and I have it at 1.63GHz
