Hey guys i am deciding to OC my giga-byte 6600GT, this card come with V-tuner2 so what is the safety speed to over clock my 6600GT to. with artifacts appearing in games?

570/1.17 stable for a month now (OC levels from coolbits too!). Also it might be a good idea to remov all the "defaults" out there since they aren't OC's.

Also johto must be watercooling his.

He isn't. He is using that big ass copper finned sink on air. However he says that the 600/1200 sometimes goes unstable but not always (he posted a thread on this in the nvidia sub forum).
