OC'd but benchmarks same?

I overclocked my Athlon 64 from 2200 to 2625. The memory is at 250 with 2.5-3-3-6 timings, and is at 1:1, the cpu multi is at 10.5. So this is about a 20% increase. I ran 3dmark03 and 3dmark05 and it scored about 40 points less on 03 and 50 points more on 05. I thought I would see an actual jump in these benchmarks. Shouldn't there be?

You will see minimal gains in any 3d mark other than 06.
06 is way more dependant on the cpu speed etc.

Download Sisoftware Sandra lite. Run the cpu arithmetic benchmark. 3Dmark is mostly for graphics cards.
