On the card ordering party, I'd like to see everyone attend (if they can do it comfortably). Thanks to tedjk and his wonderful "[H]orde give aways" I think we're gonna' have one large "card party" ;)

Big thanks go to Evil for this one.....he found a screamin' deal on a few and was kind enough to sell me one, and shipped it out speedy quick like:):cool:

Problem is I'm sick as a dog right now..*pukes*...even called in to work today.....I'm going to be running this in my 4400+ rig, but it's currently diskless/headless, so I have some work to do...Hopefully have it crunching sometime this weekend....

/tamales all around guys......and relic, be careful man......we all know what happened last time you drank scotch, made mojo and built boxen......:)

I've just been thinking, if you bought all of those GX2s you would be pushing ~1M PPD. It would cost you about half a million dollars though :eek:
 
Shew, as soon as I get home from my anniversary weekend (yes I'm on this site on my anniversary weekend, sent my wife to the spa so I could get in some internet time:)) I'm going to be trying to fix up my busted main machine, and hopefully get my GTX280 running. Then I'm going to test out the 9800GX2's, and see how many of them I can get in one rig without blowing a circuit in my home.

Lets be honest....... It be cool for a bit and worth it's own thred (pics a must).

Ordered another card today. Will set up boxen so it is ready when card arrives hopefully on Monday. Do you think you can run a 8800GTX and 8500 GT, E6700, 2 gig ram, 1 HD on a Corsaire 550 watt power supply? Those old 8800GTXs suck down electricity like it was free :eek:

 
I have an 8800GT and q6600 with 8gb on a shuttle 400w (80 plus)
And the same setup with 4 GB on an Earthwatts 430.

Both have rock solid rails under GPU2 + SMP clients loads.

I'm sure the 8800GTX and Core2Duo would be fine, not sure what the 8500GT would do, the PPD would be fairly low but the power requirement isn't that much either

Probably..... but you stay away from me! You keep inching closer, but I will not let it happen!

 
I'd have an 8800GT folding right now if I could get this figured out. Damn computers!
