OC with speed step enabled

Hello I want to OC to 3.4ghz which my cpu can do well. I have speedstep on but problem is the auto voltaged for cpu is like 1.30, and when cpu drop's to 2.4 ghz its just 1.27 .i want lower volt's like i would get if it wasnt OC..
 
Speedstep lowers your multiplier on your cpu when it's at idle or low load to save you electricity. So if I understand you correctly, you want to lower the vcore to 1.27v at 3.4ghz correct? Then all you have to do is go into your bios and set ur vcore to 1.27v, save settings, then exit. Then run 20 passes of linx and a couple hours of p95 to see if it's stable at that voltage.
 
Change the voltage setting from [Auto] to [Normal]. The Normal/nominal voltage may be enough to run stable at 3.4g. If not, then bump the voltage up a bit from the CPU VID; Auto will generally set Vcc higher than necessary.
 
Are you using loadline? You may want to try turning that off since it may help.


So what exactly are you trying to accomplish then? Care to elaborate?

Oh ok understand now. Did you try enabling C1E in bios?? The way I understand it is speedstep lowers your multiplier, but C1E lowers your voltage. Try that and see if it has the effect you're looking for
