Hi, I know that Asus released a BIOS update for this mobo that would enable OCing for the G3258 cpu.
But I then read somewhere that intel disabled it to allow OCing only on Z boards.
Is there any truth to intel disabling it and if so anyway around it?
The reason for asking is I bought this combo because it is a cheap way of getting more for your money but im not able to OC the cpu at all.
BIOS is updated but any clock higher that stock on the cpu just loops "Asus is repairing"
And it doesn't matter what I enable, disable or the volts for the cpu is.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
