OC Stability Testing?

So I'm doing some OCing of a Q9300 in a Gigabyte G45 matx board.

And the board seems to be not having issues (besides the lack of Northbridge voltage options)... But I've been using IntelBurnTest v2.3 as I've heard it's probably the best for testing. And it's acting strangely...

Sometimes it'll for no apparent reason take about 5x as long to do a run. The run will report as having no issues, but I find myself wondering if this is a problem with the OC somewhere that it's just not finding for whatever reason, something that just happens sometimes or perhaps an issue with running it under Win7 x64?

If any of you happen to have any ideas, please post em here. Suggestions of other programs that will work properly with Win7 x64 would be great too so I can test with more than one.

Cool. Thanks Caniba, gives me a few other programs to play with.

Doesn't explain what could cause such drastic slowdowns. It's almost like something is being throttled, but both coretemp and cpu-z read everything operating at the right speed. But the temps don't get as high as when it runs faster and it takes a lot longer. Don't know what to make of that.

Oddly enough running the LinPack test in OCCT v3.1.0 seems to properly load the cpu. Go figure since they should both be the exact same thing...

Now OCCT is doing the same thing with the LinPack tests. What's up with LinPack?

When it takes so long to perform each pass, it means you are unstable. Look at the Gflop speed of each pass and report the results. What's your motherboard model?
 
It's a Gigabyte EG45M-UD2H. matx G45 chipset.

Yeah, the gflops are way lower than stock. And I tried bumping all the different voltages available to me with no effect. But it still passed 1hr 45min of P95 small FFT's. So I'm not sure of what would be unstable especially since it runs all programs I've thrown at it with no problems.
