OC software

you can achieve that by using your bios to overclock.. software overclocking is worthless and not recommended by any of us here.. take a look at some of the [H] reviews on p55 boards and look in the overclocking page of the review.. will give you an idea of what kind of numbers are required to achieve some of those overclocks..

Agreed, always overclock through the BIOS. However, there are utilities that are very helpful. Check out Prime95, Linpack, and OCCT for stability testing; CoreTemp and SpeedFan for temp monitoring; CPU-Z for clock and voltage monitoring; and Memtest86+ for RAM testing.
