OC question

What would be the best way of overclocking this processor? The last time I overclocked was with an XP2400 and now I have all of these extra choices. I have an M2N-SLI Deluxe motherboard (latest BIOS), X2 3800+ AM2, and 1GB DDR2 800 XMS2 Corsair memory (2x512). Are there any tips on overclocking this processor? I'm sort of overwhelmed with all of the choices compared to what I had with the XP2400 nforce2 board. I bumped the FSB up to 220mhz but it wouldn't boot. Perhaps i'm missing something in one of the menus.
 
did u read the overclocking sticky and (cf)eclipse guide on overclocking?
 
I've read through it once. I suppose i'm still a bit confused on some of it.
