I have an unlocked 3.4E (478) that I was going to put on an ASUS P4C800-E. I was looking at the ASUS website, they say the highest FSB is 258. Since this chip is an unlocked engineering sample, I want to turn the multiplier down as far as possible and the FSB up as high as possible. Does another company make an OCing mobo with higher FSB options? I planned on using Corsair XMS PC4400, which would let me run a FSB upwards of 275. Thanks for the help, and don't let the n00b fool ya....I was Hard before there was a logo. ;)

i think only 2 multiplyer options with that chip not really unlocked tottally
you can use 14 or 17 14 should get u to 275 though i think id go with an abit IC7 max

hmmmm....so if I get a 275 FSB, I can only go 4.6 or 3.9??? I was hoping for some more multiplier options for finding the sweet spot. Any guesses on where the CPU speed/ Memory Speed sweet spot is at?? Any other Mobo suggestions? I want to order TODAY....

4 ghz is possible with good cooling. Don't get the MAX 3...it has a weak power system compared to the other MAX boards.
