Hey guys,
i'm noob at OC-ing, and with my rig in my sig i just raised FSB to get to 3.49Ghz on stock cooling. I didn't want to mess with voltages, but as soon as a get over 3.5Ghz or 390 FSB i believe it's the number, i get BSOD. Memory is GSkill DDR2 800 PC6400 2x2GB sticks. Like i said if i go over 3.5 to 3.6 ( cause i wanted to run 1:1 with memory) i get BSOD right after welcome screen in Vista. I don't wan't to go really high with the stock intel cooler until i get aftermarket one, but i think up to 3.6 should be doable without serious damage. What do you guys think the problem might be, what can/should be done?
