I have my OC @ 621*1090mhz DDR

Is that good? I have shown possibility of hitting 640*1090+ but I haven't tested enough...

The stock is 575*1080 I believe (the core is deff 575)

what are you oc'ing with? catalyst -> overdrive? my stock speeds are ~575/680, but I can't overclock with overdrive, or I get green stuff flickering on my screen. Wonder why your memory speed is so much higher than mine, maybe because mine is the ATI built card, not visiontek.

That's the DDR speed, so double yours and that's your DDR.

I'm using the ATI Tweak in the Omega drivers.

I'm using Rivatuner because as was said, the new Catalyst 7.2's break the Overdrive function and cause green screen flickering. With Rivatuner I am able to hit 621Mhz on the core. However, I CAN'T INCREASE THE MEMORY SPEED BY EVEN 1MHZ!! If I do that then I get a solid gray screen and I need to manually turn off my computer.

P.S. My card's a Sapphire X1950pro AGP

P.P.S. To the OP, something seems wrong with your memory speed. The default memory speed is 702Mhz which is 1404Mhz DDR.

I got a Sapphire X1950Pro PCI-E card and I also cannot OC the memory on my card. Always locks-up the video and I have to manually reboot. I am also trying to use Rivatuner. Anyone tried the Overdrive or something other to OC?

OC with the Omega drivers--I had lock ups with Cat + ATI Tray before Omega.

I have the same problem with ym card (sapphire agp) overclock the ram 1mhz and i get a green screen with vertical lines...
I tryed riviatuner, ati trays (made xp ones work havent tryed the vista beta's yet) and tryed the 7.2 ccc to oc and same issue... ill try some omegas if they have them for vista.

also i have an accelro x2 or whatever its called and it runs about 40-41c (idles around 38) max in games so cant be heat related

I cry jsut a lil bit of an oc would be great :(

With whatever tool you are using to overclock you need to enable driver level overclocking. Hopefully some one finds a way around this becouse I believe the memory timings change with driver level, but you are able to ac memory that way

GOD I FEEL LIKE A RETARD!

I selected oc at the driver level and vola 621/1580

Well now it seems my utility (ATI Tray Tools) wont let me set driver level overclocking. I select my desired frequency but upon pressing apply it jumps right back to the default. Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks

P.S. Card's a ATI X1950PRO AGP

Edit: Seems like my problem is attributed to the driver. It's just too new. I need the 7.2's though for folding. I'll just wait for the 7.3's to come out. I can wait.

I used ati tools, they havea vista version out and it works just fine. Only problem is i dono how to make a profile that runs at startup...
