Ok, so i finally over clocked my system today. got it to 3.3 ghz without any problems..but i checked too see how everything was doin thru Everest. It said i had overclocked by 10% and the FSB had gone from 200 to 220 and the Memory Ram had gone form 200 to 147. Why is this? how can i riase this back up and does it matter?

thanks. i read the stickies but there wasnt something that helped me diagnose this.

thanks again

Did you manually set the memory divider, or did you leave it as 'by SPD'. The BIOS may be reading the speed of the memory, seeing that the standard divider makes the memory go over the standard speed, and increase the divider (decrease the ram)

hey thanks. i resolved the issue. i went into bios and changed the frequency for the memory to 400 intstead of auto. its now the same as my cpu fsb both at 220mhz now. so its good. i hope the system will be fine...as the comp is overclocked by 300mhz and the memory bus by 20mhz.
