Here's ym system. Amd 2400+, 512 Samsung PC2100, Abit NF7, Ati Radeon 9800 Pro.

I did a OC on my CPu to 2.25ghz with 150x15 w 1.75VCORE. But my memry speed went down to 240 mhz? Well at 150 FSB it was unstable when i played a game it would crash or restart. What suggestion do u think i can get to 2.25 ghz with pc2100. Right now my ram is FSB:DRAM 1:1, CAS# Latency 2.5 clocks, RAS# to CAS# delay 3 clocks, RAS# Precharge 3 clocks, Cycle time [Tras] 6 clocks. Should i change my memory stuff so i can to 2.25 easier or leave it how it is? What is the Max FSB i could run stable with PC2100 i heard 150FSB but i did but my memory was was slower. What do u think i can do? Thanks in Advance.
 
drop the fsb to 145fsb for mem stability and run memtest to find its max, the just up the multiplier on the cpu.
 
not necessarly, and upping the ram voltage can make your ram stable at higher speeds. Just try it at 145fsb to see if it is stable

run more voltage to the ram.

change your cycle time (tRas) to 7 or 8 (or 11 if you have an nForce2 chipset).

also, you can try changing your CAS latency to 3, which will give you more room to overclock, but at the expense of some performance. but if it gets you a higher FSB, it can offset any performance hit you get with the CAS of 3.

just run some memory benchmarks to be sure.

What's the difference if it is nforce2?

And PC2100's default speed is 133 mhz. I would get PC2700 at least if I were overclocking. That ram is really going to limit you :(
 
The nForce2 boards have an anomoly where t-ras of 11 nets the greatest performance gains. There were a few articles and threads on it a while back.

PC2700 = DDR333 (or 166 FSB). since he is going beyond that, I'd recommend some PC3200/DDR400 which is good for 200fsb at least.
