Hello everyone, Im having a small problem OC my AMD 64 3200+. I been using ClockGen and when I OC it by anything all my games get choppy. Any idea how to fix this. BTW I have an Asus K8V Deluxe Mobo if that helps.
 
The reason behind this is the lack of a PCI lock. I have the same motherboard and same chip(assuming your chip is a Clawhammer). Mine will top out at 2.2GHZ stable, up from 2.0 GHZ.

As in K8V-SE Deluxe mobo? If so I am using that same board with a 3400 (CH) and was un-aware that the board doesn't support pci lock. Where can I check for this, under the chipset,cpu speed, volts etc? After swapping memory and heatsinks I am at a stable 2.5 GHz @1.55v-core with this board from 2.2 with plans on going a lil further but I suppose I need to look in to this more. Please let me know where I can check this or where it should be. Will it be a setting thats described as pci or is there another more broad name for it?
