Just picked up a bunch of screws I had powder-coated (don't ask how much it costs . . .probably a tank of gas in my Highlander with for the cash it costs):

 
I get all my things done through FusionPowderCoating.net in Chesapeake Va. They have decent prices.
 
Hope it didn't cost too much, thats not a very good powder coating job, very uneven coating.
 
interesting idea, but arnt you worryed about the coating cracking off when you go to tighten them, or are thes going to be more for ornimental mods (really being held on by some sort of adhesive) so much as trying to get a allen wrench into them would ruin the coating as the holes are now smaller.

+1... I've seen better jobs of people powdercoating for their first time in their own home oven.
 
Nah, I'm familar with powder coating through my automotive addiction (you think PC modding is expensive, ha). The obviouslly went light on the coat so as not to make it so tools won't fit the fastners. Which is always the problem when trying to powdercoat such small hardware. Also most shops around here would have masked the bolts shank.

not knocking it or anything just saying that's not a high dollar job.
 
This was a test to see how they came out . . .will try them and see how it works. I would like to get my hardware anodized instead . . .still looking into it. Might have to get my own setup.
 
Gonna have to agree. Anodizing looks a lot cleaner and more professional than powder coating in my opinion. At least on things like bolts and screws.
