Is it possible to build a mage-only and survive? I remember back in Morrowind it was pretty tough being a mage. And can you create your own spells?

Are there any hoods or "ninja masks"?
 
Yes you can, I'm a mage only.

No you ca'nt make your own spells (atleast from what I've seen so far)

They have some cloaks and stuff but I have not seen Ninja masks yet.
 
i think you can make spells later on


from what i understand, they buffed pure classes to be equal to the hybrids classes, unlike morrowwind
 
You can make your own spells, but you first have go gain entry into the Arcane College.

While I haven't tried it yet, I hear a pure caster can be very doable.
 
Devs have said that a pure mage or a pure thief-type can play the game, not like Morrowind where you need to fight a lot.
 
It's a lot better than Morrowind's story...where you really knew you were in a SINGLE player rgp...in this, its more like being in a movie...you fight along side soldiers and everyone has their dialogue and what not...also, you journey into Hell and help look for the Emperor's son to restore the throne....usually I do a crapload of other quests but this story sucked me right in...

I contracted a vampire disease and was thinking abuot letting it run its course...and playing through the game as a Do-Good Vampire...but got scared and drank a cure disease potion ;)
