For me, character "creation" consists of me jamming the "random" button 2 billion times until I finally go "whoa...I like that one" and build everything else around the random face.

yes indeed, my redgaurd is definitely checking yours out, lets just say he's glad he's got that daedric cuirass, otherwise things could get embarrasing

1. Im level 19, where can i get good armor?
2. How come If I have screenshots enabled. I dont see the screenshots in any folders?
 
go to Vin Diesel (the ruins, not the actor) and get that armor. Wander around SE of Imperial City across the river to find it. Best stuff in the game, best sword in the game.

SCREENSHOTS:

If you modded you INI file, make sure you mod the INI file in your documents/my games/oblivion folder too. Secondly turn off AA. Screenshots won't work with AA enabled for some reason (on my system anyway). Use the TFC console command for free camera (you have to be in 3rd person mode FIRST or you'll just see your arms and weapon)

I've been decked out in Speaker Robes for much of the time, but now that I'm main questing I needed to go a little more robust. Had to upgrade from daggers to a Daedric longsword and throw the DB armor back on. Kept the hood though. ;)

I thought you only mod the ini file int he documents/mygames/oblivion theres another?
 
Can you take a picture of ur map with Vin Diesel on it i searched every where and theres a Y shaped river underneath

hold down your middle mouse button, or the scroll and move your mouse around.

SOUTH WEST / SOUTH EAST...you know, same difference :eek:


ThreeDee to "see" your character better, scroll backwards until you are in 3rd person mode. Then use the console command TFC, now you are in floating camera mode.
 
After I hit TFC what do i hit to take a screen shot?

Okay I found that place and after I own umbra and take her fine gifts what do i do next?

Go back to the shine and tell him NO.
Keep the Umbra and Umbra Armor, it's very good stuff!
 
What shrine? I barged in there and just killed her, looted her and ran.....

One of the Shrines to the Daedra Lords sends you on a quest to get the Umbra Sword. I choose not to give it to him!
He seemed pissed

That is exactly what I did. Snuck attacked her, lured her into the spikes, done. Great way to get the best sword / armor in the game. Anyone wants my Umbra sword is gonna have to deal with da bidness end of it first ;^)

Hmm I guess no one plays any other races I think I am the only one that plays a Kahjit..

Maybe secretly everyone is hoping that they are the descendants of the emperor and if you play the same race that would be true.

Okay, I didnt do that quest I just straight up gang banged her. Too bad her armor is heavy and I master light armor :(

That umbra is sick nasty.

Im level 21. I get laughed at for my apparel :(

And for the golden arrow shop mod.....is it too cheap to use lorimers (sp) bow that paralyses for one second on every arrow hit? with 56 damage...
 
Here's my level 10 High Elf in all steel armor...except for the badass sheild I picked up not to long ago :D.
Dont mind the blood on the grround behind me, there's a...er..."mess" off screen ;)

BTW, is it me Is it me or does my high elf look a little on the white side? I mean, like, he should look a little more gold 0_o

Th first thing that popped into my head is "Look at the muscles on you". I crack up EVERY time I hear that in the game.
 
Here's my guy. He looks kinda boring...but he can get the job done real easily. Level 23 right now.

Don't tell him no. Eventually you WILL want to give him umbra. Goldbrand is a better sword anyways, lol.

Just don't talk to Clavicus again until you want to complete the entire series of daedric shrine quests. You *will* want to complete it for the final reward.

If you can survive the fall during the quest without having to equip the boots, then you get to keep them. Needless to say I was just barely alive after the fall.
 
So you don't get to keep them if you wore them? I didn't wear them either; I was bunny-hopping pretty much through the entire game so the fall only took a sliver of health off. :)
 
If you wear them during that fall they "break" and are removed from your inventory.

It's starting to annoy me, just like "N'WAH" in morrowind, think they coulda used some more....random quotes based on races/species and what not the npc's to say to you.
