I have found a theme that makes the task bar translucent, just like Windows Areo.

The menu is semi transparent also. I can't figure out a way to get a screen shot of it because it closes when you click away from it.

oh, Cinnamon. I use KDE Plasma, so I'll need to find a transparent one.

Good luck. I use Cinnamon because it's as close to Windows as I could find. Old habits are hard to break.

There might be a transparency option now that I think about it. I think I'll do more tinkering with it now that I see there's more recommending settings on that page.
The Win11OS theme for KDE has a frosted glass panel similar to the implementation in Windows 11.
