Yet another case with < 8 3.5" slots, yet too many 5.25"s... Why do they assume we need more than 1-2 5.25"s? 3.5"s are WAY more important!

Remember. This is a $90 case

For the money and what you get, it's a great case

I just ordered a Fractal Design Define R4 the other day for $80 (though unfortunately for that low price I had to accept the windowed version that I didn't want) and it has 8 3.5" slots. Why does every other case manufacturer make the poor decision to instead give us more 5.25" or more open space? You can find $40 cases with 8 3.5"s (though at that price they won't be rotated, and you'll probably slice your hands up on the thin metal). Can't wait to get rid of my P180. Talk about piss poor design. Not sure why I ever believed the reviews that this case wasn't a POS. Zero cable management, lots of wasted space, too many 5.25"s, almost no room for hard drives.

Would have considered cases other than the Define R4 if other manufacturers learned that some of us actually use multiple hard drives. Who the F uses 4 optical drives (or alternatively, who would rather have to convert 3 of 4 5.25" bays into 3.5" via a messy adapter instead of doing it cleanly inside the case)?
