i just picked one of these controllers up so i could regulate 2 new 1600rpm slipstream fans i mounted on my h50 for push/pull exhaust (i got tired of the dust).
i stripped down the controller so im only using the 2 fan wires, 2 temp probes and the power cable. seems to work fine, although because i pulled the other 3 temp probes the darn thing just flashes blank lines..it would be nice if you could disable the unused connections. the other thing is if i try to adjust the rpm to lower than 1100 on these fans it seems to take a shitfit and beep at me, then it maxes out the rpms again. im thinking its the fan that doesnt like the voltage being lowered that much. anyone else have input on this fan controller?
