I'm getting the NZXT Phantom, and I plan on adding two 200mm blue LED fans from NZXT to the top and side, to match it all well. Just wondering if anybody has done this, what size CPU cooler I can fit in the case after the 200mm side fan is added? I plan on getting the V6 by cooler master, but it's pretty large, and I don't want to spend the money on the 200mm fan if it won't fit.

I had a Phantom case with the two top fans installed. The fan in the side panel would not fit with my Asus Triton 88, which had a height of 153 mm. The V6 has a height of 165*, so I would have to say no.

*Assuming the dimensions are LWH on Cooler Masters website.

They revised it. The rear fan holes are elongated downwards so you can install H50s/H70s without touching the top.

My H50 in my Phantom keeps my 1.295v 4.6GHz 2600K idle at 32-36 and load at 55-60. The side fan makes a big difference in video card temps imo.

I take it back, I bought one at best buy for $40, I wasn't interested in spending $70+ for one, when I could get an air cooler that would do me just fine, but for $40 it was cheaper than any good air cooler I could find that matched my case :p


Do NZXT offer any case fans in white/black with blue LED's besides the 200mm? I'd like to replace the two 120mm fans on the side & add a front 140mm blue LED fan, but they need to be white/black, I hate having non-matching case fans.
