I was thinking about getting this case... but was wondering if 200mm fans are compatible with this case. Does anyone have this case?

UPDATE

The Panzerbox will only support the 200mm fans from NZXT. There isn’t a universal size for 200mm fans.

Panzerbox Wolfenstein Mod (Look through the whole worklog... amazing stuff)

Guy mod's a 250mm fan top exhaust I believe.. i suggest checking the link above!

You sir are a lucky man, and this brings to mind the old saying:

"when a woman buys you snow tires for your 4x4 weekend madness... marry her!" ;)

BUY ONE! BUY ONE!

I don't see enough of these cases around on forums. I may be a biased opinion though ( I do happen to own one... lol)

They are awesome little cases.

I did buy one lol...was going to buy one from newegg... but they don't sell them anymore. says items is unavailable. bought one from tiger.. few in stock left.. if anyone else is going to buy one.. might want to buy one soon before there all gone!

Update

I did purchase the case but what pisses me off.. is that tigerdirect states: "FREE Shipping offer valid on orders over $100 with a weight of 25lbs. or less." that would make me a happy camper when ordering this case.. but tigerdirect states on checkout that the case is over 30lbs... wow that's not correct. the case itself is made out of aluminum and with some plastic case fans, the case weights 13.8 lbs. now.. given there is the cardboard box and the packing foam... how does that go over 25lbs...

That stuff can add up, but their weight measurements are often miscalculated. I had stuff listed as .5 lbs and other stuff listed as 15lbs when there's no way it could be that much (like a motherboard ) etc.

Just part of dealing with them, I usually just separate my order out so I can get free shipping on all that :D

not really tigers fault.. more like mine... my wallet is looking more skinny each day.

case came in today... I do like it very much. mmm the case is kinda wobbly though.. dunno if it's the case or if it's off balanced cause of the feet. But nonetheless... awesome. It'll be awhile till i can my budget build into it.. dirt poor you see. But I have some mod plans for it. I have a left over plastic etched window from an old case. I plan on doing a camo like the wolfenstein. with same insignia on the front. was thinking about red black gray camo. Still in thinking phase.

The Panzerbox is awesome, been completely happy with mine since I bought it. Although I need to do something about the dust, the top fan mesh turned white with dust when I didnt blow the case out after about 3 weeks. Keeps the system rediculous cool though, no worries about anything overheating.

+1 on the dust problem. My case gets dustier on a daily basis. Find myself dusting off the front fan mesh every time I turn it on...

yup the bottom aluminum base was bent.. placed a soda cap under it and pressed down. almost fixed.. placed a few books up on top to even it out a little more.

here's the side panel I plan on installing on this case:

That's pretty hot, how much you charge for that :)

it's actually from an old case. it's from the e-power warrior case. The only reason why i liked the case was because of this side panel lol. The picture you see above is upside down.. mainly for design purposes pertaining to my mod idea.

did some more bending. top stamped mesh was bent pressed it and got it back to original look. I had kept thinking about returning because of the few bends here and there. But looks like i got all of them :D

I was not to happy with the mesh on mine so i did some hack and mod work and made it a whole new case. :D But really i like it alot.;)

What, did you just hack off the front mesh in front of the fan? Those shots are kinda smaller, hard to see what all was done.

Very nice, Honeycomb mesh looks very nice. What kinda fans did you install?

Click on the pic and you can see them in there full size. Also i did not hack anything. LOL I took the case apart and removed the old mesh and installed the new hex mesh. Along with a larger Cooler Master fan in the front. And 120mm Cooler Master fans everywhere else.:D
Kristy ;)

now.. the fan you installed was a 200mm, did you have to do any additional modding? Wasn't sure if a 200mm would work cause of the 190mm deal... and nzxt telling me that it would only work with there in-house brand

You would need to drill the hole where there needed for the 200mm fan. But it is not to bad to do.

Anybody know where I can get a replacement fan for the top of the case? I stuck my hand in there while it was on, hit the fan and a blade broke off making it hella imbalanced. I broke another off on the opposite side to even it out a bit but its still gotta a little bit of vibration to it. I'd prefer a quieter one if thats possible.

shouldn't be sticking things in where they don't belong

lol

For sure dude I'll pm you tonight when I can get to a computer..iPhone h navigations a pita

yup mines up and running right now, fans are pretty loud. I don't have a fan controller yet for it. Gotta score som more dough.

Which fan controllers did you match up with your panzer?

Question...has anybody found a gpu waterblock (specifically 5870) that will work in this case?

Nope no fan yet was starting to wondering about that. After dong some searching I found a solution to watercool the gpus in this case swiftech has a gpu block and a passive heatsink combo that allows you to orient the block in different directions. Mcw60 is the model I beleve althoh you still need a fan of some sort since it's a passive system. Although having the psi exhuast fan right next to the cards could maybe pull enough air past them. My gpus are sittin pretty at 45 and 37c idle so the airflow is superb in this case for sure

Check your mail. I had sent it out by USPS not thinking. Should be there.

Rock on, got it in the system and running...vibrations be gone...thanks a lot Crazy

I have two of the stock Panzerbox Fans lying around here also. Don't need them for running water ;)

I'm gonna be moving to water for the gpus when I get the money together. Already using the corsair H50 on the cpu and it's gonna be something like 3-400 for the full water setup. In the mean time these fans keep things pretty cool

I am in the process of fitting a 220 Rad on the floor too... God I love this little case. Not so light anymore with all the goodies inside though...
