NZXT Gamma Case question (front intake)?

Regarding this case:

Everywhere says you can install a front intake fan, however there's a hard drive cage blocking the front. Does anyone have this case and know how to install the front intake fan? Can't find it in their not very specific manual.

Also, if I'm correct, it says 7 bays, so the hard drive can be installed where the red box is as well, correct? I don't have the 90 degree cord yet. It just wouldn't be "toolless" or optimal as the cords would be in the case, rather than behind the mobo tray.
