Hello,

I have a pc that I just made a fresh install of XP onto. I installed XP onto a SCSI disk that is the C:. I have 2 sata disks that make a stripe of ~160gb from a previous install. When I connect them the stripe is dected by nvraid bios as healtht, but XP refuses to see it, it tells me the disk hasnt been formated.

Thanks
Will

make sure it is enabled in ALL parts of the bios, in my bios i have to enable sata drives, sata channels, and sata raid, you might have to also enable the type (nv or sil) of raid, depending on your board. nvraid drivers installed? check device manager "scsi and raid controllers"

good luck.
man.

control panel->administrative tools->computer managment->storage->disk managment then highlight the unformatted disk right click and hit format. thats all there is to it man. GL!
