OK, lets get this over with. I am going to strip my raptors. Don't yell at me
I have read the reviews, I know there is extremely limited performance gain (but there is a gain!). I recently setup some ace storage on the network so I have no need to keep any 'important' files on my machine (software backups, work documents, music, movies, etc) so the risk is worth it to me.
Anyway...
I lack a working floppy drive, is there anyway to get NVRaid working with my system prior to installing Windows XP / Linux without a floppy? I have gathered the right bios settings, used the nvraid utility to strip the drives, ran windows setup and noticed it still picked up 2 drives, rather then one. What are my options? I was thinking possibly slipstreaming the drivers into my xp disc, but which ones.. and will it even work?
Thanks for any ideas.
