I am using nview and I have rotated the view of my left monitor by 90 degrees. The whole display is performing terribly. Its very slow response time. I am talking 2D stuff. Just changing tabs in the browser and moving the mouse around. ITs all choppy.

I rotated this so I can code in it, but I am not happy with this performance at all. it will interfere with my coding.

Any idea about why its so sluggish, and does anybody else experience this?

I have a 7800 GS.

uninstall nview and try the rotation controls from the driver´s configuration panel

I can't see any way to seperate nview from the nvidia graphics drivers. They seem to be one and the same.

remove nView from the Add/Remove Programs feature in the Windows Control Panel.

Don't do the automatic uninstall, select Custom and then select just nView for being removed.

That did not work. There is no opotion to just uninstall nview. nview is not even identified anywhere. so everything was uninstalled. when I reinstalled the driver, now it seems as if just graphics driver is there but no nview. However, this means I get no control over 3d settings and whatnot!?

and there is no rotation option anywhere.
