for some odd reason i am getting no sound out of my rear speakers.
The connections are fine through my receiver because when i play a dvd i get sound out of all 4 surrounds, but when i play something off my pc through the home theater, for some stupid reason the rear speakers are pushed up to the front surrounds when playing the nvidia speaker test.

i really have no damn clue what did this, why it did this. I tried the latest drivers (the nvidia ide stuff screwed up everything so i reinstalled old versions) and same thing. Even off a clean install it STILL does it for some stupid reason.

This is really starting to piss me off. I emailed nvidia about it and didnt get a single response.

It does not matter what i do in the speaker setup page, i just cant get the sound to go out the rear surrounds. It's set to 6 speaker, digital output... rest of the boxes are checked off.

and no, im NOT installing the new nvidia mainboard package, it's screwed my system twice.

And people bitch about ati's video drivers... jesus i dont think those people have even tried the cluster fuck that are nforce drivers >=|
