Version: 71.84 just released today on Nvidias website. Is it Any good? Does it really help out SLi problems with some games?

Don't know if it helps any of the games I'm playing. But one thing for sure, there's still a problem with SLI and widescreen DVI. The shimmering is not as bad, but now there's like a 2 inch wide area on the right side of the screen where its like double-image. Back to the D-SUB connector.

Also, when I uninstalled the old driver and rebooted, the system came up in 1600x1200, which is not displayable by my 2005FPW. I had to swap in another monitor to change the resolution.

Pretty disappointing so far.

Well, it officially supports "60 top games" according to their website and allows you to make your own profiles in the driver applet.

Just hook up my SLI system.
Using 2 Geforce 6800 Ultras.
Have a Dell 2005 FPW (digital).
My windows desktop is fine in widescreen. (1680 x 1050)
Any game I run that supports widescreen 16:9, I get the jitters
when running in SLI mode.
If I just run off of one video card it works fine.
Then what the heck is the use of having SLI????
NVidia PLease FIX this!!!

The jitters is caused by bug that affects DVI. Use the analog (D-sub) connection.
Since this workaround is easy, this bug is probably low priority. Probably have to wait another 3 months for the next official driver release to see if it gets fixed.

Mines running pretty good off of these drivers. Worth giving them a shot.
