Nvidia rebrands 210 as 310

nV is fueled by corporate profits and doesn't really care about the consumer at all, I thought this could be seen by their business practices of the last.. 5 years?
Not to say that I never buy their cards.. but I always feel bad doing so.

corporations' sole purpose is for amassing profits in this world of capitalism? perish the thought! fictitious corporate entities "caring" about materialistic consumers is a funny notion.

"While complete information about this newly discovered GPU remains speculative at best, we do know that it is based on the 40nm GT216 core (GT216-200-A2), carries the codename “D10M2-20,” supports DirectX 10.1 and is supposedly the OEM version of the recently launched Geforce GT 220. In specific, the Geforce 315 runs at identically the same speeds with a 625MHz core, 1360MHz shaders, and 1800MHz DDR3 memory. However, the memory has been doubled on this OEM card to 1GB of 128-bit DDR3, up from 512MB of 128-bit DDR3 on the stock version of the Geforce GT 220 (although several manufacturers supply 512MB and 1GB variants)."

both NV and ATI provide detailed specs if you actually select their products, ATI provides a little more info but it's info that is useless to someone who doesn't follow High end gpus closely and even knows the terminology

I can't say I care all that much, I buy cards based on their real world performance balanced against their price. What does the model number matter, it's just the usual PR rubbish every single company pull.

You jumped ship because you don't like their marketing?

I went with who had the best card.....I could care less about marketing or how they re brand....none of that matters in the games I play.

Until you get fucked by it. Your thinking goes along with the attitude, "Hurray for me.... fuck you".

Oh really?
How exactly would I get 'fucked" by it.....anyone with half a brain knows what they are buying.
If your buying from strictly marketing BS,and don't do your own research, then I have no pity for you.

I can assure you, I will not be getting"fucked" by any of it.

These threads are always a treat to read. People are so passionate about their computer hardware lol.
