Guys,

I need a little bit of help here. I'm trying to get a Nvidia Quadro NVS 420 to run. I'd discovered the card sitting in our IT office collecting dust and its not giving me a display on any of the 4 outputs.

System Specs:

3.3GHz i3
2gb of ram
windows 7 32bit.

Already tried the basics of card trouble shooting: Different computer different drivers. I dont have another VDHCI card. Windows does show it there in device manager. Any Ideas?

Aside from finding bulging/bad capacitores which is usually easy to spot (you could post some high res pictures of the card)

The only answer you get, which is a real long shot, is trying the bake trick. I got a free BFG Geforce 280 that way since it was about to be thrown in the trash.

Remove the heat sink, place on banking pan with chip facing up, and use something to prop the card with so the circuit board is not touching anything and bake for 10 minuets @ 385 degrees

I doubt it fixes it, but it never hurts to try:)

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I will try to post a picture later.

EDIT:
