Hey guys, I'm debating the purchase of an Nvidia or ATI card. I normally go with Nvidia. I own a GF4 128mb right now but the fan is going out on it and I don't want to go through all the trouble of sending it in for repairs and waiting a danm month to get my hardware back :) ... So I want to purchase a good card I can spend a decent amount of money but I want to stay around 150-200 also I want to get something that will endure the test of time :) something that I can keep in my PC a long while. Any recomendations?

ATI 9800 Pro 256 bit. Can get one for right at 200. Great card. I'm buying two on Monday to replace the cards below in my sig.

get any radeon, they're the only ones that are going to hold up in the future. 9700pro or 9800 pro. Just don't get the 9800SE or a cripled 9800 pro(a 128bit one)

I used nvidia for awhile but a few months ago went ATI and never looked back.

If you've got a Geforce 4 with a busted fan, you don't have to send the card in for repairs. Just get an aftermarket fan for it. The Comp USA by my house has Geforce 4 fans in stock.
