Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I would like to know how to set up my graphic card so that i have an extra monitor and my television set up so i can switch between the two. any suggestions?
you are planning on driving an extra monitor and a tv with a notebook graphics card? WHY????
im assuming those panels will be larger and lcd, that also means ALOT more pixels to be driving........1920x1200 forget about it, I know dell has some 1920x1200 high res panels on some of their lcds and yes the 6800 was an option in inspirons but at that resolution those cards were severely taxed.
I dont see this as being a very fruitful venture for you, contrary to popular belief and marketing hype, laptops are not and will not be desktop replacements any time in the near future.
I suggest you rethink your computer philosophy a bit, a laptop is a nice compliment to a desktop system and you should always have a good desktop system, they are far more powerful and upgradeable, last alot longer and far more cost effective.
If a laptop is your ONLY systems then consider investing in a good desktop system with a powerful graphics card instead of using up the life span of your laptop ( avg four years) to mimick a desktop computer.
