I'm interested to see how the HR-03 goes with it. This is the 1st confirmation I have it fit's, I'll just need to look up on the heatsinks but to make sure theyre compatible since I'm unsure if I feel like going out and ordering those too. From that pic it doesnt look like he has heatsinks on the memory chips. If my HR-03GT fit's but I may just go the 9800GTX over the 8800GTS I had planned.Only $50AU more afterall.
Cheers, wasn't sure about the PWM chips over to the right of the board since the 8800GT's HR-03 comes with a few different sized sinks. To be safe about them I just ordered some cheap swiftech MC21's incase the size with the others is an issue. If not, no loss.http://www.3dnews.ru/_imgdata/img/2007/10/27/63975.jpg

The memory layout and mounting holes of the 9800 GTX are identical, so the HR-03 GT should work fine. As far as him not having the ramsinks on.. who knows. Maybe that was just a glamour shot. He got a fairly decent memory overclock so I'll assume he attached them before firing it up.
Oh, and from the looks of it, the 9800GTX might actually fit a AC Accelero Xtreme 8800. Which would be really, really awesome.
Can you confirm?
If so. I concur.

I'm pretty sure it's the same length as the 8800GTX/Ultra
If you use the stock heatsink, the Auzentech should fit no problem.
I run a X-Fi between my GTXs.
It wouldn't fit between the aftermarket heatsinks shown in the photo. Plus all the heat is dumped into the case using those causing MB/CPU temps to climb to unstable range...Thanks! It just looks very tight with the two 9800gtx on the photos
